		<description>I share your frustration. I have resorted to using the SearchDirectory function for pulling LDAP information in rather than trying to get an LDAP BO to work. I do like the abstraction of the ldap data from the role via the LDAP connection though.

How are you finding the lack of free style function coding in v9? - The Visual scripter editor seems a bit fisher price but I can see the use of re-using visual scripts.

Great site by the way, I&#039;ll add it to my blog roll.

		<description>I wasnt aware that Oracle only used the first 8 digits for indexing columns. 

In such a situation it would probably be ideal to create your suggested number field index.
